The next in the Sony’s super-powered ‘Infamous’ series, Second Son is already being hailed as a true demonstration of next generation power, and the sandbox adventure has all the ingredients of a successful game.
Second Son stars new protagonist Delsin Rowe, a 24-year-old Native American street artist who can absorb special abilities from others, including the ability to manipulate smoke and electricity.
Delsin is viewed as a bio terrorist by the DUP, a branch of government tasked with controlling those with superhuman abilities and hunted.
One notable change from previous games is that instead of the accessing an aiming system by holding down the L1 button, the player will not need to do so, and will just be able to fire whenever they want, using an on-screen reticle to aim.
Release date
The game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 video game console will be released on March 21, 2014.
The game is rated Teen and has been confirmed by ESRB.
