JEDDAH: Women must not visit doctors alone and without their close relatives, said a Saudi scholar.
According to media reports, this statement came after a university’s girl’s student death in KSA days before.
None of her close relative was with her when she reached hospital, they said.
A senior Ulema Council member said women were careless about to visit the doctor so they should not be allowed.
“They should visit male doctor only when any female doctor is not available, besides they ought to show just necessary body part,” Religious scholar said.
