ISLAMABAD: Airport Security Force (ASF) on Monday has foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Saudi Arabia by arresting a passenger.
According to reports, a passenger Abdul Majeed belonging to Sargodha was travelling to Jeddah in International Airline NL 719 from Benazir International Airport.
Airport official searched his luggage when he has doubted the passenger and found one kilogram of heroin from secret pockets of his bags.
The ASF official said passenger has been arrested and investigation started against all those who involved in heinous crime.
They also said that the culprits could be arrested and punished according to law.
