WASHINGTON: American forces are working upon a digital messaging network which would delete secret messages as soon as they are received by their soldier on ground.
The Military fighting directly with its enemies in three countries of the world wants a sensor network which can be used for a limited period of time and the message conveyed through the network can be deleted or destroyed before reaching enemy’s hands.
A demonstration of the technology can be seen by Hollywood celebrity Tom Cruise in the movie series “Mission Impossible”.
Besides the messaging network, Scientific research department of US forces is also trying to make electronic weapons which can be destroyed through remote control.
According to a British media group, the tender released for this work openly invites technology companies to use fused or chemically sensitive metal for this sort of chip.
US Defence department has given a 21 million dollar contract to XEROX.
Other companies working for the project are Aerospace, SRIS, and Honey well.
