Shangla: Bad weather is hampering rescue and relief efforts in Shangla area of Khyber Pukhtunkwa after avalanche injured around 13 people as it fell at home today (Friday).
According to police, around 13 people have been injured in the accident it called the rescue sources to help in the injured.
“Because the roads are cut off local peoples were busy to save the injured themselves, with very few tools and no equipment.
The local people blamed severe winter weather, inadequate roads and the lack of reliable means of electronic communication for the fact that many of the injured had still not been able to get to hospital.
Shangla valley is cut off from the rest of the linked areas because avalanches and landslides had blocked or damaged the main road, leaving people in the area vulnerable.
