Today is the tenth birthday of Facebook. The social networking site which is part of your everday life was created on the same day in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg and his classmates.
Zuckerberg himself had no idea back then about its massive impact on internet. The website which was once limited to Harvard students only is now one of the most visited website in the world.
Zuckerberg is a celebrity because of this website. There has been a blockbuster movie “the social network” about Facebook. And also, countless books have been written on Zuckerburg and Facebook.
Facebook has another credit to its name; it is the only entity that gave rise to intense social media scene, which is now filled by Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest and many more.
