KARACHI – With law enforcement agencies are all set to launch third phase of operation against outlaws, Sindh government reveals 15000 arrest in last three months or so.
“Over 15‚000 suspects have so far been arrested since launching the operation in September last year and about 1000 suspects are being proceeded in the courts,” Qaim Ali Shah, chief minister of the southern province said.
The claim could be amazing cum worrisome for Karachiites, who see a mere improvement in the law and order situation in the city even after such a big number of arrest.
However, experts say that weak legal preparations, incompetency of police, lack of solid intelligence collection and sharing and political influence on criminals are causing impediments despite sacrifices of law enforcement agencies.
Shah, nevertheless, reiterates his believe that operation will be brought to a logical end.
