Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has changed its name to K-Electric (KE) on Sunday. A special ceremony was held at Mohata Palace to announce the conversion.
Dr. Ishrat ul Ibad, Governor of Sindh, was the chief guest at the event. In his address, he praised the services of K Electric Company. He said that KE is improving with time and load shedding will soon be eliminated from the city.
There were many eminent personalities present at the ceremony and K Electric bestowed life achievement awards to many key persons for their important services for the country. The life time award receivers’ will now get free electricity from KE.
Many artists and performers kept the ceremony alive and entertaining for the participants.
The company has changed its website address as well, now it is www.ke.com.pk (former www.kesc.com.pk).
