Islamabad: As the nation suffers with a huge gas shortage in the country, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at last has given a positive news while saying that Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) would be available by November this year to help overcome gas shortage.
During an interview to a private television, the minister said that quantity of LNG would be more than gas reserves of Sui and Qadirpur.
He said that government has the prior responsibility to fulfill demands of domestic consumers and for this purpose around eight small gas reserves have been discovered in last three months.
Abbasi said measures have been taken to check gas theft worth seven billion rupees per year.
