Peshawar: As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan expressed utmost disappointment on Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK) government over poor response on ultimate sacrifice by the ninth class student Aitzaz Hassan, the KPK finally announced to name the government school Ibrahim Zai after Aitzaz Shaheed here on Monday.
According to reports, Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khattak has also decided to construct a stadium after Aitzaz Shaheed name to give him tribute.
The KPK government also announced 5 million for the heirs of the brave student.
The CM KPK described Shaheed Aitzaz Hassan as our national hero and his parents also deserve tributes.
Talking to media persons on Sunday, Imran Khan said that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak’s behavior was disappointing.
He said it was deplorable that the chief minister had not visited the Hassan’s house.
Imran Khan said that Aitzaz Hassan was a national hero and the PTI would take care of his family.
The incident took place on Monday, January 6 in Ibrahimzai, when he tackled a suicide bomber targeting his school in the Hangu area.
There were almost 2,000 students in attendance at the time of the attack.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had recommended Aitzaz for Sitara-e-Jurrat (National Award) while the government and Army paid tribute to him for his sacrifice.
