Islamabad: Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that dialogue with Taliban is still the first priority of the government as entrusted by the All Parties Conference (APC), but only for those who ready to accept its officer, he clarified.
Talking to media persons here, he said the government was continuing with its policy that dialogue should be held with all those who are willing to talk.
The present leadership of Tehrik e Taliban is not willing to hold dialogue, he said adding efforts to hold talks are at a crucial stage and he is hopeful that there will be a positive outcome.
Chaudhry Nisar made it clear that dialogue would be held while upholding respect, honour and laws of Pakistan, adding anyone who makes an offer of dialogue, the government will seriously respond to it and willsincerely hold talks with that group.
“But those who will respond to our offer of dialogue with bullet, we will fight with them and chase them wherever they will be,” he added.
“Our aim is to restore peace in Pakistan particularly in FATA, as it is right of the people as they have paid a heavy cost for an unnecessary war.
