Washington: As HTC is eyeing to introduce HTC One successor, now new report claims HTC One Two (HTC M8) to be called HTC One+.
HTC have a remarkable success with HTC One in 2013, as it comes out to be the most popular handset of the year. HTC is now with a new aim this year, as now new leaked details and specs give us a hint about the device.
According to Android Revolution, sources have told the site that the HTC M8 will take on the moniker ‘HTC One+’ as its official name. It will reportedly have a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display covered by Gorilla Glass 3 protection and will use the latest quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, although it was previously reported to use the 800 series.
It will also have 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, which should improve performance, and will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with HTC Sense running on top of it.
Its camera capabilities will supposedly include an 8- or 6-megapixel HTC UltaPixel rear camera with a double lens and enhanced imaging software, as well as a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera for video chat or selfies.
The source claims that the HTC One+ will not use capacitive buttons, but will instead use on-screen buttons like many current Android smartphones. The handset will also reportedly ship with a microSD expansion slot, a feature that many reviewers and customers have requested for the flagship.
The HTC One+ is also said to ship with a much larger battery than the HTC One’s 2,300 mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone will reportedly include a very large 2,900 mAh battery that will certainly give you a couple of days of battery life with normal use.
