PESHAWAR: The Hydro power Station Duber Khwar in Kohistan district has started its test generation.
This station has the capacity to generate 130 Mega watts and situated at the right bank tributary of the Indus River.
Project Director Iftikhar Ahmed said 130 megawatt of electricity will be available to the national grid very soon, in an interview he informed.
He said Unit 1 of the hydro power station has been synchronized to the national grid.
He said the hydro power stations was commissioned within a record period of eight months, after completion of the major civil works activities in April last year.
