Karachi: As CNG stations in Karachi were shut down for 48 hours again in a week, Karachi Transport Alliance (KTA) and All Pakistan CNG Association (APCA) announced a strike for an indefinite period from Sunday in protest against the schedule.
The strike will be observed from Sundayin the metropolis during which all CNG filling stations will remain closed and public transport off the roads.
Shabbir Suleman, Chairman of the APCA, has declared the current schedule justified and said it creates the problems for all.
While the transporters said in a press release that they cannot waste time while waiting in queues for hours to get gas for the vehicles.
