ISLAMABAD: Keeping eye on the increased security concerns in the federal capital of Pakistan, all celebration functions has been banned with an immediate notification by higher authorities of Islamabad.
The Islamabad’s local administration took sudden decision to banish all celebration events in the city as few hours left now in the changing of current year 2013.
Notifications of Clearance (NoCs) for the scheduled celebration events in different hotels has been suspended by the local administration.
According to reports, the city’s authorities deployed more than 10,000 security officials on the New Year 2014’s night while the markets were ordered to be closed at 10:00 pm (Pakistani Time).
Security officials got orders for restricting the entrance of vehicles coming from other cities.
It should be mentioned that strict security arrangements has been made on the New Year 2014’s night across the country while pillion riding, without silencer bikes and aerial firing has also been banned in several cities of Pakistan.
