NBA has fined Zach Randolph $25,000 for criticizing the referees in Thursday’s game against the Houston Rockets.
The Grizzlies lost 100-92.
The fine was announced on a day set aside in Memphis for Randolph.
Randolph will pay the NBA a $25,000 penalty.
In a post game interview, Randolph said of the refs, “It’s obvious, it was the refs tonight. Eight against five. The game, in the second half, the man was shooting free throws every time. We’re out there playing hard. They’re dictating the game. It can’t be like that, man. We’re out here playing too.”
Randolph was referring to Rockets player James Harden.
