ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday has addressed the inaugural event of new block at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad and said that the government will rebuild relations with the United States.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ new block has been inaugurated at Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan, in a prestigious function by the PM Nawaz Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif said that the government will review relations with the United States on the basis of bilateral respect.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said, ‘Pakistan wants good relations with all the neighbouring countries.’
Nawaz further said: “Diplomatic prosperity and economic prosperity go hand in hand.”
“Diplomacy is the first defense line for any country and it should be used for promoting trade”, the premier said.
He added that diplomacy has acquired a new meaning in the modern world as diplomats play an important role in promoting peace.
The Prime Minister vowed to fight terrorism and eradicate poverty by placing the issues on top priority while also clarified that the federal government now wanted trade but not aid.
