Islamabad: Advisor to the Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif on national security Sartaj Aziz on Thursday has said the government gives top priority to improve its relations with India and positive developments took place in this regard during the last few months as a result of efforts made by the incumbent government.
Addressing a seminar on national security in Islamabad today (Thursday), the government is engaged in devising a comprehensive national security policy to ensure friendly relations with neighbouring countries.
Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan is now focusing on foreign policy based on promoting trade and economic relations with other countries. He said under this policy the government is working round the clock to promote trade relations with European Union‚ Middle East and Russia.
