SHARJAH: Pakistani batsmen have set 124 sixes record in a calendar year while maintaining its better performance in one-day International.
Green Shirts have got the achievement of most sixes record in third ODI against Sri Lanka at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Before this, Pakistani Skipper Misbah ul Haq had set the most sixes record hitting 33 sixes in one year as a skipper.
Now, Pakistan is in the top of the list with 124 sixes in 2013. Besides, other six leading cricket teams are as follow:
- Pakistan: 124 sixes
- West Indies: 121 sixes
- Australia: 120 sixes
- India: 119 sixes
- South Africa: 99 sixes
- New Zealand: 67 sixes
