Islamabad: Just two days after his retirement as the chief justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has got life threats from unknown person.
The registrar of the SC, Faqeer Ahmed said that unknown person gave serious threats to Iftikhar Chaudhry as he was busy in hearing cases against the biggest powers of the country.
The registrar said that it was expected that the life of the former chief justice would be in danger after the retirement.
He demanded that government to beef up the security arrangement of Iftikhar Chaudhry and also gave him bullet proof car.
