PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has not let go the suitable opportunity for conveying anti-drone message via participation in a NATO ambassadors’ dinner party.
Seemed consistent in campaigning against US drone attacks in Pakistan, PTI’s chief Imran Khan expressed his strong condemnation over the spy plane attacks even in a dinner party with NATO ambassadors.
Khan told the NATO officials that they should explain US government by the risky factors and negatives impacts of drone attacks in Pakistan, local newspaper quoted sources.
He clarified that the movement is going on with single purpose of recording their protests but not for the initiated of war against US.
The NATO ambassadors were provided briefing by the PTI chief that terrorism is consistently increasing as several innocent citizens are being killed in the US attacks.
Khan said that the drone attacks are against the sovereignty of the country and NATO countries should respect the reign and securities of Pakistan.
The high-level event was also attended by the prominent leaders of PTI including the party’s Information Secretary Shireen Mazari, Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Pervez Khattak.
