Washington: Amazon once again made a remarkable offer, as carrier is now selling Samsung’s biggest smartphone AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega for $44.00 when signing new 2 year contract.
Samsung made the phablet category popular with its Galaxy Note line. The company actually offers a smartphone with an even larger display than the 5.7-inch screen found on the flagship Galaxy Note 3. The Samsung Galaxy Mega features a 6.3-inch 1280 x 720 PLS HD display. It’s powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1.5GB of RAM to provide a snappy user experience. The handset runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX. You’ll find 16GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64GB microSD cards.
Samsung has packed in an 8-megapixel rear camera that can record full HD video and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting. The phablet’s wireless connectivity options consist of 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and GPS.The company has also included an IR-blaster that turns the device into a universal remote control, which includes a built-in program guide. The Galaxy Mega uses a large 3,200 mAh removable battery.
