Lahore: Four times world champion, Pakistan now unable to manage a camp for international tours due to shortage of funds as it has only 6 lacs in the account.
According to sources, the Pakistan Hockey Federation facing severe financial crisis as it has failed to pay central contract fees to the players since 20 months which affected the performance of players.
The sources said that the officials of PHF have written a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in which they requested a meeting with the premiers.
The officials further demanded a grand of Rs. 30 million immediately to run the federation in a better way.
It is to be mentioned here that due to poor performance Pakistan has failed to qualify for the world cup 2014.
