Lahore: Future of thousands Pakistani now at stake and insecure after the failure of the government of Pakistan to resolve the problem regarding an issuance of visas for its citizen in the Saudi Arabia .
According to a report published in a local newspaper, the government had to convince the Saudi Arabia regarding to issue the visas but it had failed and now the future of thousands of Pakistani now at risk.
On the other hand Bangladesh has convinced the Saudi Arabia to re-issue the visas to its national while the African countries compelled Saudi Arabia to continue dialogue process due to their resistance.
The report said that when Saudi Arabia given notice to the nationals of Bangladesh and African countries they staged protest and started hunger strike.
After the protest, the government of both the countries focused to solve the problem. After the dialogue Saudi Arabia agreed to issue the visas to the nationals of Bangladesh while the dialogue process was still continued with the African countries.
While the government of Pakistan failed to take such actions to save the future of their citizens.
According to government figures around 13 thousand Pakistanis faced tough time in the Saudi Arabia while as per independent figures this numbers have been reached to 50 thousand.
Managing Director of ministry of overseas Pakistani Iftikhar Hussain Babar has said that dialogue process was still continued and the majority of Pakistani would remain in the Saudi Arabia but some has to return back in Pakistan.
