ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has pulled socks up for another increment in petroleum prices up to Rs5.22 as per suggestion sent to the federal government on Friday.
The country’s highest authoritative department for energy resources, OGRA, sent incremental summary for petroleum products to the federal government suggesting Rs5.22 hike, sources said.
According to the new summary, the suggested hike in prices of petroleum is Rs0.85, High Speed Diesel Rs1.00, kerosene oil Rs1.18, High Octane Rs5.22 and Rs0.82 on Light Diesel Oil.
The new prices will be implemented after approval of the federal government expectedly on November 30 while the application of the hike would be made on December.
It should be mentioned that the international prices of petroleum has significantly decreased following recently made nuclear agreement between the World power and Iran.
