ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s government and opposition have agreed formation of special parliamentary committee for suggesting and recommending essential amendments in the Constitution.
The committee would comprise the members of the both houses of parliament and Speaker National Assembly would announce the committee.
The task of removing inefficiencies of 18th constitutional amendment would be given to the parliamentary committee in first phase.
Sources told SANA that Government and opposition have agreed that due to inefficiencies of 18th amendment, some issues turned complicated like the amendments of provisions regarding the appointments of judges in higher judiciary.
The committee would send its report after examining the flaws in the 18th constitutional amendment.
