Karachi: The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Karachi, has disqualified Aamir Liauqat Hussain for admission in M.Phil programme due to his suspicious post-graduate degree in Islamic History.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Graduate Research Management Council (GRMC), which was chaired by Vice Chancellor Porf Dr Zafar Iqbal.
The meeting disqualified few candidates, including Aamir Liaquat Hussain for admission in M.Phil programme.
A GRMC member raised an objection that a fake student had appeared in the M.A (Islamic History) exams for Aamir Liaquat Hussain in the Urdu University. Therefore, the management of Urdu University had declared his enrollment in M.A as controversial and formed a committee to probe into it.
The meeting was informed that the TV host has not cleared NTS Test, a compulsory condition set by the HEC to apply for M. Phil/P. hd programme.
The GRMC meeting unanimously declared Aamir Liaquat Hussain disqualified for admission in M.Phil.
