Islamabad: A meeting of the Standing Committee on Water and Power was held at Parliament House here on Saturday to discuss the shortage of electricity and Ministry of Water and Power has said that law could be made regarding closure of markets before 8 pm.
The meeting was convened especially to discuss the shortage of electricity in the country.
According to spokeman, shortage of electricity had been discussed in the meeting. He added that the ministry has given hints to make a law regarding closure of markets before 8 pm in order to preserve electricity.
“The decision will be make after consultation with all the provinces”, the spokeman added.
