Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party’s senior member and Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah said that former dictator Pervez Musharaf must be tried from October 12, 1999 coup, the PPP showed its support the government if it tried Musharraf for his November 3, 2007 act of imposing emergency, he added.
Talking to media here in Peshawar, the PPP member said that it was a time to handle national issues. He urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to reach Pakistan and called the session of the national assembly to discuss the current situation of Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan was overflowing with problems and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf must not start a protest to stop NATO supplies.
He further said that Punjab government and local administration was responsible of Rawalpindi incident and culprits must be arrested. He said that the fire of the incident spreading to other parts of the country and Islamic scholar must played their hands to solve the issue.
The PPP leader said that Pakistan was facing multiple problems and we have to solve our problems first rather than to interfere to other issues.
