MAKKAH: The most sacred for Muslims, Kaaba, is being showered with scented water as the annual Ghusl-e-Kaaba ceremony is underway.
The ceremony is being led by Governor of Makkah Province, which houses the mosque, Governor Makkah Prince Khalid Al Faisal on behalf of Kahdim-e-Harmain-Sharifain King Abdullah.
The ceremony is also being observed by diplomats of Muslim countries and royal family of the Saudi Arabia.
Millions of pilgrims visit the holiest place every year to perform Umrah and Hujj.
