LAHORE: Law enforcement agencies on Monday have clutched a private torture cell of policemen in Shahdara area of Lahore and also recovered two major kidnapping suspects from the house, local media reported.
Security official conducted a raid at a suspected house in Lahore, so called a hidden torture cell of some policemen, where two persons were chained with beds individually.
According to reports, both detained persons are wanted criminals in kidnapping case of a women, however, without any legal permission for remand the persons were locked up inside a house located in the premises of Shahdara police station and reportedly belongs to a resident Mumtaz Rasool.
The torture cell was alleged running under supervision of Station Head Officer (SHO) Rashid Amin Butt and Sub-Inspector Sanaullah Cheema.
Raid was conducted after complaints of local residents to the authorities and media persons, moreover, the reports claimed that it is the fourth case of private detainment centre revealed till yet in the Lahore.
However, the incident probably enough as eye opener for the law enforcement authorities in order to take rapid action against the criminal activities underwent under the officials of its own departments.
