LAHORE: A cheerful news has emerged from the government side for CNG users, whom are in millions now.
The government decides to provide CNG 24 hours throughout the year to CNG consumers from next year, officials sources said.
An agreement has been finalized between the government and CNG Stations Association, to be implemented from July to Aug next year, that CNG will be available 24 hours throughout the year.
The CNG users will heave a sigh of relief after the agreement as at present they have to face closure of CNG stations for three to four days in a week. The closure compels vehicle owners to stand in queues for hours to get the CNG.
The agreement has been made after an additional bill of $ 47.5 on the account of oil export had to be paid by the government as oil consumption is on surge after the CNG stations closure.
