DUBAI: After a humiliating defeat in ODIs, Pakistan will face Proteus in first T20 match at Dabai stadium.
The Green shirts, who are considered as a tough opponent in Twenty20 format of cricket, will be looking to sweep the series of two matches. The series win will take them to the top position.
Pakistan and South Africa have so far played two tests and 5 ODIs in their tour to UAE. The test series was ended with a draw while in ODIs Proteas easily beat Pakistan by 4-1.
Pakistan, which is only behind Sri Lanka in T20 ranking, will be led by Mohammad Hafeez.
“We are eager to win both games,” he said ahead of the match.
The batting and bowling line of Green Shirts will be strengthen with the addition of all rounders, Abdul Razzaq and Shoaib Malik, in T20 team.
