ISLAMABAD: At least 30,000 Pakistanis, living illegally in Europe, would be brought back to the country with the combined strategy of European Union, United Kingdom and Pakistan .
A campaign has been planned by Interior Ministry and European Union, to be funded totally by EU and UK, to highlight cons of illegal entry into Europe.
A precise estimation reveals that about 30,000 Pakistanis have been living in Europe.
UK has over 7,000 illegal immigrants from Pakistan while the largest number of Pakistanis, of course illegally, are living in Austria, about 12,000.
Similarly Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, France, Norway and other members of EU have thousands of Pakistanis.
The strategy envisages to deport them and to settle them in Pakistan for which they would be helped in establishing their businesses or would be assisted in getting the employment.
On the sideline of these practical measures, a well rounded media campaign would be launched to raise the level of people’s awareness about hurdles and hardships for illegal immigrants.
