PESHAWAR: Four districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has been declared highly sensitive during the month of Moharram and KPK government announced to ban the pillion riding in the province.
Akhter Ali Shah, home secretary of KPK, headed the high level meeting on Thursday, in which law and order situation of province discussed.
During the meeting, Hangu, Kohat, Peshawar and Dera Ismail (DI) Khan declared as the highly sensitive districts of KPK.
It was decided in the meeting that Afghan foreigners will not allow to enter in highly sensitive areas in KPK during the month of Moharram.
“There will be banned on the display of arms in KPK during the month”, it was decided during the meeting and KPK government also announce to ban on pillion riding during the Moharram in sensitive areas.
According to the sources, during the month of Moharam KPK police along with elite force, army and FC troops will be deployed for the security during the month.
