RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has granted legal status to 800,000 Pakistani nationals as well as extended amnesty deadline for expatriates till November 3.
Pakistani Ambassador to KSA, Muhammad Naeem Khan, asked the Pakistanis, who are residing in KSA, for contacting consulate general in Jeddah to get legal status.
Khan thanked KSA’s King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Salman for extending the amnesty deadline as well as the Saudi Immigration Department for its cooperation and support especially to the Pakistani community, Radio Pakistan reported.
The recent development provided chances to Pakistani community in preventing to face deportation from the country where they are staying majorly due to jobs.
