KARACHI: The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on Tuesday issued notice to Inspector General of Sindh Police and DG Rangers on a petition filed against ‘no go areas’ in Karachi.
The family of petitioner was present in the SC’s Karachi registry during the hearing of the case.
“We are not allowed to enter in our areas on the basis of political affiliation”, petitioner stated.
According to the petitioner’s statement, Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Shah Faisal, Lines Area and others had forcedly turned in to ‘no go areas’ on political basis.
He added that they were displaced from their home for a long time.
