PESHAWAR: Former Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has denied the statements made by his father Azam Khan Hoti. He said it was a personal matter that his father made political.
Former CM KPK and leader of Awami National Party Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said that there is no truth of what his father said regarding ‘Pakhtun sellout‘. He said that he and his father are poles apart and now he has played politics on a personal issue.
Hoti said that he and his father are poles apart and no one should go through what he is facing at the moment. He said that his father there is no truth Asfandyar Wali owning a palace anywhere. Infact he stayed in a rented place while his visit to Dubai.
He said that Azam Khan Hoti was also part of the government for 5 years, if it is true what took him so late to wake up? He also said that his father admitted himself that he has no proof of the revelation he made.
He said that Awami National Party has always faced allegations every now and then. They were termed as US, Indian and Russian agents from time to time. He said that ANP has also faced Fatwa (religious declaration) and so called revelation from his father is not anything different.
Hoti said that as a leader, Asfandyar Wali is respected not only amongst Pakhtuns but other communities as well. He said that unlike his father, he is respected because of his party and will continue to stand with ANP.
