Leakage of poisonous gas in a factory in Landhi affects various workers. Six women were immediately rushed to Jinnah Hospital Karachi. Rescue sources say that female workers were included in the affecteees in gas leakage in Landhi Export Processing Zone.
According to News Tribe Correspondent almost 450-500 workers were employed in the factory. Director of Emergency Services of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), four women were brought to the hospital. Most of the women have been sent back after giving first aid.
Another worker reports, that no gas leakage occurred and a woman saw a ghost that lead to women running out of the factory. 25 ladies have been reportedly injured as a result of the incident.
