Several rumours suggest that highly antcipated smartphone Samsung Galaxy S5 will be equiped with 64-bit Exynos SoC.
According to Sammobile, new piece of tidbit comes from the Korean media today claiming Samsung has managed to overcome the “most complex tasks of the development process and is now dealing with technicalities and logistics.” This, if true, is good news because the last time we heard, it was rumoured to be in the final stages of the development.
The chip’s completion also suggests the first recipient of Samsung’s next-generation chip could be the Galaxy S5. The device is expected in Q1 2014 and is rumoured to be powered by the 64-bit Exynos 6 processor with true octa-core support via ARM’s big.LITTLE technology.
