LAHORE: Prominent leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and the provincial law minister, Rana Sanaullah, has reacted on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Pervez Khattak’s statement about local bodies’ election in Punjab.
Rana Sanaullah taunted the Pervez Khattak, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, over unsatisfactory performance for finalising local bodies act in KPK.
He said that KPK government failed to complete its homework for the local bodies’ election before the locals.
It should be mentioned that the Pakistan’s three provincial government including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan signaled green for organisation of the election by giving specific dates except the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Punjab and Balochistan governments affirmed holding the election on December 7 while the Sindh government suggested November 27.
However, Sanaullah added that Pervez Khattak knows nothing about the details local bodies’ poll in Punjab.
Earlier, Pervez Khattak demanded the suo moto action from the Chief Justice of Pakistan over non-provision of power to the locals by the governments of all three provinces.
Khattak also alleged that all three provinces are continuing governance pattern of a military ruler like General Zia-ul-Haq.
