KARACHI: As ice seems melting between the former allies, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is likely to join the Sindh government within next 24 hours, sources say.
The sources said that several key leaders of the MQM including Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Babar Ghori and Nadim Nusrat from London had reached Dubai on the directives of the party’s chief Altaf Hussain, adding that leaders would hold meeting and decide regarding joining the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led provincial government.
“A meeting of the MQM leaders with PP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is expected within next 24 hours,” a private news television reported.
