Washington: As HTC announced its first ever highly anticipated phablet HTC One Max, now new details and image leaked with AT&T and Verizon tag.
HTC officially announced its first phablet, the HTC One Max, about a week ago. The company announced that the smartphone would be coming to Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. It did not give any indication on when the handset would launch, but thanks to newly-leaked images of the 5.9-inch phone we may have an idea on when it will land on Verizon and AT&T.
The evleaks has come through for smartphone fans once again. The tipster posted images of a Verizon-branded HTC One Max and a second image with AT&T as the phablet’s carrier.
The images may also give us a hint on when each carrier could release the smartphone. The Verizon HTC One Max lists a November 7 date on its display and the AT&T model shows a date of November 1. While there’s no official confirmation, the dates displayed could point to the actual launch dates.
The HTC One Max features a 5.9-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD display, runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is the first HTC smartphone to run the new and improved HTC Sense 5.5. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM to provide a snappy user experience.
The device includes HTC UltraPixel Camera, BSI sensor, Pixel size 2.0 µm, Dedicated HTC ImageChip 2, f/2.0 aperture and 28 mm lens, Smart Flash with five levels of flash automatically, 1080p Full HD video recording with HDR video and 2.1-megapixel front facing camera that can record 1080p Full HD video.
The HTC One Max is available in a choice of 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, 50GB of free Google Drive space and also includes a microSD expansion slot for additional memory. It has dual front-facing stereo speakers with HTC Boom Sound and built-in amplifiers. Its wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy), GPS, and NFC.
The phablet includes a fingerprint scanner, which is located on the back of the smartphone, just below the camera. HTC ships the phablet with a non-removable 3,300 mAh battery.
We should take the possible release dates with a pinch of salt but the display has been used in the past to give hints of a device’s expected launch date. We’ll keep you up to date on all HTC One Max information as it becomes available.
