WASHINGTON: Big day arrives today as Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif set to meet President of United States Barack Obama to discuss all important issues including the violation of territory through drone missile attacks.
The talks with the President of United States will comprise of bilateral ties between US and Pakistan, strategic measures, sovereignty of the state, peace process in Afghanistan, return of US soldiers from Afghanistan and US drone attacks on Pakistani territory.
In his meeting with US President, PM Nawaz Sharif will also raise matter of mutual assistance of various sectors including energy and various others. Jalil Abbas Jilani, Foreign Secretary stated that the purpose of the visit of PM Nawaz Sharif is promotion of bilateral ties and cooperation between Pakistan and US in the areas of economy and trade.
Speaking in Washington‚ he said that the Prime Minister during his meeting with President Obama will raise the issue of bilateral cooperation in energy and other sectors.
