ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday announced to restore memberships of 11 parliamentarians of different assemblies as they have submitted their asset details in ECP, The News Tribe has learnt.
Two members from Sindh assembly and five elected parliamentarians from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) assembly have disclosed the details of their assets to ECP.
Prominent leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Aliza Iqbal Haider, Faisal Raza Abidi and Abdul Rehman Kanju of Muslim league Nawaz (PML-N) have got the restoration of their memberships today.
Earlier, ECP had suspended the memberships of 26 parliamentarians from National and Provisional assemblies, including the leaders of three famous political parties of Pakistan; PMLN, PTI and PPP.
