KARACHI: The Pakistan Railways’ cashier has fled from his office situated in Karachi with approximately Rs2 million cash on Tuesday.
Qaiser Abbas, the chief booking officer of Pakistan Railways, allegedly theft a huge amounts (Rs2 million) collected via booking of passengers and vanished from the office.
According to police sources, raids has been conducted in several spots of the city in order to capture the person.
However, no arrestment has been made till yet.
It should be mentioned that cash flow significantly increased in the railways’ department during the recent Eid festival celebrated last week.
