LAHORE: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Miyan Mehmood ur Rasheed’s brother Hamid Rasheed has been appointed land acquisition collector 2.
According to the sources Miyan Hamid Rasheed had earlier working as Tehsildar in Board of Revenue and the opposition leader of PTI in Punjab Assembly Miyan Mehmood ur Rasheed played pivotal role to pressurise for this position.
It has already been clear in the constitution 1975 that no one associated to the post of LDA if he is in the property related business. Although Miyan Mehmood ur Rasheed emphasised his position and also took advantage of deputation. He was also provided assistance through additional grade.
It has come to notice, that Miyan Mehmood ur Rasheed used his authority and political influence to make his brother Miyan Hamid Rasheed land acquisition collector.
