Washington: As we are few days away from Appleās 22 October event, now reports indicating the launch of fifth generation iPad and other devices.
Apple’s October 22 event will mostly be centered around the introduction of the company’s next-generation iPads. The company will launch two new flagship iPads, the 9.7-inch iPad 5 and 7.9-inch iPad mini 2 with Retina Display.
iPad are considered to be one of the most successful device that company have ever produced. The launch of iPad 4 shock the people by introducing 128 GB of massive storage capacity.
The expectation form Apple have now become more interesting after the debut of Apple iPhone 5S with finger scanner, now what Apple may introduce?
According to reports, iPad 5 will inherit the same design that debuted with last year’s iPad mini. It will be smaller and lighter, while still retaining its 9.7-inch display. It will also feature thinner bezels around the display of the tablet, which first debuted with last years iPad mini. The tablet is also rumored to gain the iPhone 5s’ A7 processor and its Touch ID fingerprint scanner that’s embedded into its home button.
The iPad mini 2 will finally bring a Retina Display to Apple’s smaller iPad, something the company was criticized for leaving out of last year’s model. The iPad mini 2 is rumored to be in short supply because of the new display and it will be interesting to see how it affects sales of the iPad 5. Last year’s iPad mini was believed to outsell the flagship iPad 4 due to its smaller size. The addition of a Retina Display in the new mini could cause even further cannibalization of the larger iPad.
Apple is also expected to officially make OS X Mavericks available through the App Store. The company revealed in June that its next version of OS X would see a release in the fall, and it looks like Oct. 22 will likely be the day of its debut.
Apple also gave the world its first glimpse at its all-new Mac Pro at the WWDC back in June. It’s been a few years since Apple has updated its professional desktop and it’s possible we’ll get an official, concrete release date.
Apple sure wasn’t exaggerating with its “We still have a lot to cover” message on its invitations. The company is also rumored to announce updates to its MacBook Pro line at the same Oct. 22 event. Apple most recently upgraded its MacBook Air to use Intel’s latest Haswell processors, which provide enhanced performance and improved battery life.
Apple is going to have a very busy time on stage on Oct. 22 and we’ll be covering the event live and bringing you all the latest news as it happens.
