KARACHI: Pakistan Airlines again in trouble over violation of international laws on travelling as a passenger woman has given a birth of a child during travelling, The News Tribe reported on Saturday.
The pregnant woman gave a birth of baby girl in a PIA’s flight no. 782 departure from Toronto to Karachi.
PIA sources said the emergency has been declared on Jinnah International Airport in Karachi and medical landing ambulance along with medical rescue staff called for the medical treatment.
Director flight operations PIA, Khalid Hamza have taken the notice of incident and ordered for the inquiry of the matter.
According to the International law for air travelling, a woman over 36 weeks of pregnancy cannot tolerate for air travelling on the plane but health condition of that woman also be considered.
