JEDDAH: Saudi government has arrested more than 19,000 illegal Hajj pilgrims including foreign, national citizens and sent back at least 46,000 journeyers before they reach Makkah, The News tribe reported.
The deceased and returned pilgrims were those, who have not formally permitted for Hajj by Saudi Arabian government.
Moreover, Saudi authorities said more than 37,999 vehicles were stopped on the checkpoints and pickets made for surveillance near different roads to Makkah.
Earlier, the Saudi regime has limited the number of national and foreign Hajj pilgrims due to the construction work in progress in the city of Holy Makkah.
